MEET PARIS

Paris Lawson began her sport broadcasting career while playing collegiate basketball at Belmont University in her native Nashville, TN. Paris suffered three ACL tears in her four years as a point guard for the Bruins. She made the most of her time on the sideline by picking up a mic and stepping in front of the camera.

Paris freelanced as a sideline reporter for ESPN+ covering Belmont athletics, as well as soccer matches for Nashville Soccer Club and NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament for local ABC affiliate WKRN News 2.

In September 2019 Paris made the jump to the NBA, joining the Oklahoma City Thunder as Digital Content Reporter. She made her NBA sideline debut in August 2020. Paris also co-hosts the Thunder’s podcast, is a producer for the Thunder’s Film division and also fills in as pregame and halftime host on Bally Sports Oklahoma.
